Sustainable site maintenance

Energy-efficient work, less noise and environmentally conscious choices: our contribution to a cleaner outdoor space.

A green approach as standard

Sustainability is standard across our services: grounds maintenance, cleaning, waste collection and minor repairs. We limit emissions and noise, choose chemical-free methods and separate waste streams where possible.

We plan our work carefully, avoiding unnecessary travel and downtime. That keeps your location safe and pleasant for staff, visitors and surroundings with a smaller ecological footprint.

We look not only at the end result but also at the way the work is carried out. Your sites stay representative and ready for use while we reduce environmental impact step by step.

Concrete and measurably more sustainable

Electric equipment

Battery-powered and electric tools for mowing, pruning and cleaning; fewer emissions and less fine dust on site.

Less noise

Quiet engines and smart working times reduce nuisance for neighbours, customers and staff.

Chemical-free by default

No harmful chemicals for weed control or cleaning; where needed we choose thermal or mechanical solutions.

Waste separation

During waste collection and cleaning we separate residual waste, PMD and paper/cardboard where possible and report full containers.

More than a trend

Sustainable work is not a marketing line for VESTA. We invest structurally in electric tools, training and process optimisation to lower the ecological impact of our services.

At the same time we stay practical: sustainable choices must also be workable for our teams and affordable for our clients.

Electric-powered equipment
Chemical-free weed control
Separated disposal of waste streams
Smart route planning to limit travel
Quiet working times where possible
Environmentally conscious cleaning products

Sustainable work you can see on site

Sustainability is easy to write down in this industry and hard to deliver. So we keep to what is concretely verifiable on site: which equipment is used, which agents are applied and how many journeys are driven.

Our crews work with battery and electric tools wherever possible. That cuts emissions, but at a filling station or charging plaza the noise matters most: electric equipment makes it possible to work next to waiting customers at times that would otherwise be too busy. Weeds are tackled mechanically or thermally, without glyphosate or other pesticides.

In planning we combine rounds and locations so fewer kilometres are driven. For customers with several sites in the same region that makes a noticeable difference in journeys and in downtime on site.

Sustainable site maintenance across our regions

Our method is the same at every location in West Brabant, Zeeland, Limburg, South Holland and Flanders: electric where possible, pesticide-free as standard, and combined rounds to limit journeys.

Sustainable site maintenance

Do you use glyphosate or other pesticides?
No. Weed control is mechanical (brushing, hoeing) or thermal (flaming, hot water). It is a deliberate choice and it avoids friction with clients who have excluded chemicals.
Is electric equipment powerful enough?
For the work we do, yes. Battery equipment has improved considerably in recent years; for heavier jobs we keep conventional machinery available, but that is the exception.
Can you demonstrate what was done sustainably?
Our per-round reporting records which work was carried out and by which method. For tenders and sustainability reporting we supply an overview on request.
Does this help in tenders?
Often it does. Municipalities and large chains increasingly include pesticide-free working and low-emission equipment as a requirement or award criterion. We already work this way, so nothing has to change.
